Ventia’s Trecca Team (First Nations Employment Team) is now looking for an Indigenous Participation Manager based in the Western Sydney NSW area home of Darug and Gandangara people. The successful candidate will lead and champion sustainable employment outcomes for First Nations Peoples within Ventia and our supply chain partners. This leadership role will play a pivotal role in driving meaningful change, exceeding employment targets, and fostering strong relationships with Indigenous communities.
About You:
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Indigenous participation strategies, and working with people to improve job readiness, capacity building and support of candidates
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at community, professional and government levels.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, as well as proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., recruitment, Human Resources, Indigenous Studies, Social Work, Community Development) preferred.
