Company Overview:

Our client, Pure Desi Pty Ltd is Sydney’s leading producer of Indian sweets, proudly operating since its establishment. Known for its commitment to quality and authentic flavours, the company is undergoing a transformative digital shift with the implementation of the Acumatica ERP and CRM systems. This project supports the company’s growing operations, including consumer-direct factory sales and a rapidly expanding online and retail outlets sales channels.

Role Summary:

They are seeking an experienced ERP & CRM Project Implementation Specialist to assist in implementing Acumatica ERP and CRM systems. This pivotal role is critical for ensuring accurate data migration, seamless system testing, and successful integration with business processes, culminating in a go-live date of 1 April 2025.

Pure Desi currently uses QuickBooks.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and the software vendor TSG, ensuring the project meets its timelines and delivers value to the business. They will bring expertise in ERP/CRM implementations, a deep understanding of project management, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation:

• Build, populate, and validate master files for:
• Customer and supplier records
• Inventory items, including raw ingredients and finished products
• Food recipes with detailed specifications
• Process and troubleshoot test transactions for critical workflows:
• Sales, including consumer and online transactions
• Purchases, supplier orders, and receiving
• Production, ensuring recipe alignment and batch tracking
• Stock movements, including transfers and adjustments
• HACCP food safety standard processes such as inventory locations in warehouse and cold room and freezer locations

CRM Implementation:

• Configure the CRM system to align with business and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to test and optimise functionalities:
• Capturing and managing new customer details
• Executing and tracking inbound inquiries
• Testing campaigns for email and SMS marketing targeting consumers, wholesalers, and commercial clients.

System Testing & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct rigorous testing of ERP and CRM systems, ensuring all processes align with business requirements.
• Identify and resolve any issues, providing detailed feedback to vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system usage.

Training & Handover:

• Provide training and guidance to internal staff to ensure smooth adoption of the new systems.
• Create user-friendly documentation for processes and workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in implementing ERP/CRM systems, including accounting modules.
• Experience in data migration, system testing, and integration with business processes.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries is advantageous.

Technical Proficiency:

• Hands-on familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms; experience with Acumatica is a strong advantage.
• Competence in data management tools and systems configuration.
• Understanding of accounting principles and processes.

Project Management:

• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to present solutions clearly and concisely, fostering team alignment.
