About the Role
You will be responsible to maintain existing assets and overseeing routine maintenance delivering works to high quality standards, safely and within budget and required timeframes. The role demands a strong focus on leadership to achieve outcomes and directly liaising with client representatives to influence project outcomes.
You will also be responsible for the coordination of compliance to QTSC Project Management Plans; project specific plans; engineering compliance through quality conformance and assurance; planning the two week lookahead and whole of project levels; procurement and resource management; project daily cost and monthly cost reporting; forecasting; head contract claim preparation; contractor claim certifications; coordinating stakeholders, local community and subcontractors.
A flexible approach is required to working hours to facilitate delivery of project work during closures and interfaces with operational periods.
Technical responsibilities include project scope development and documentation; preparing design briefs; constructability reviews; estimation support; tenders/pricing, project and contract management; delivery, supervision and verification of completed works; and compliance to statutory, contractual and company requirements.
